I had some fun with this page layout.
Interestingly, I have no shows scheduled for this upcoming weekend, or even the one after that. The next one I go to will be June 17th, the Feminist Zine Fest Pittsburgh. I’ve never been, so I don’t know what to expect there (I have ideas, but I try not to rely on stereotypes. Stereotypes are boring).
There are two other shows I applied to: The WV Pop Culture Con and Erie Comicon, but I haven’t heard back from either one yet. We’ll see.
However! I have a workshop happening – if you’re in the Wheeling, WV area, I’m running a How to Make a MiniComic workshop at Cat’s Paw Art Studios. It’s this Friday, June 2nd, from 5 pm to 7 pm. $10 to attend, and that covers art supplies, snacks, drinks, and more in-depth comics-making tutorials for those who are interested.
