PAGE 100 Panel 1: Charlie glances up at Clow and asks, "How come?" Clow answers with, "Because what if something follows her?" His brows furrow with worry. (They have been talking about something from The Pit, after all.) Panel 2: Close up on Charlie as she texts on her phone. "...Good point." She types away. Panel 3: wide panel. Vanita's phone vibrates and she reads the text. "...Charlie has a boyfriend?" King, sitting next to her on the floor (under the blanket fort) asks, "Should I come with you, then?" Panel 4: Large panel. Medium shot of Vanita and the Demon King sitting on the floor of the blanket fort. Vanita's expression turns stern as she asks, "That depends, can you disguise yourself? Because everyone in this time thinks you're the dead villain of legend." This makes King recoil slightly with wide eyes.

She pokes two fingers together, looking away while saying, "Not all of them! Just most of them. But the ones that survived are uh..." Panel 4: Wide panel. Their dinner plates sit on the couch cushion by their heads, with leftover chicken bones and forks. King, looking thoughtful, recollects as they say, "I recall a drawing on the floor. A seven-pointed star...and seven black candles. One at each point of the star." Panel 2: Wide panel, close up on King looking puzzled. "I don't recall the exact incantation," they say. "...But I remember it had been copied from another book..." Panel 3: Vanita asks, "Do you remember the book?" King raises a finger, face lighting up with recognition. "Not exactly," they say. "I think it was something-or other Incantorum. But I remember the author!"

We hear from inside the apartment, "You mentioned a spell before dinner. One that can send people to the Pit... Panel 3: Wide panel. Closer in on the sliding glass door opening into Vanita's apartment. There's enough of a crack in the curtain for the speech bubble to come through. Vanita asks, "...Do you remember any of it?" Panel 4: Inside the apartment. We see the blanket fort. Under the covering, King says, "Hmm..."

You too. Be safe." Panel 2: Close up on Charlie's hand holding the phone. Charlie says, "'k. Night!" Claudia from the phone says, "Night." And Charlie hangs up. Panel 3: Medium shot of Clow, Charlie, and Jared. Jared says, "You two ever consider operating a detective agency?" Panel 4: Charlie and Clow smirk. Charlie says, "Dude. Our specialty is a little...niche." Panel 5: Medium shot of Jared, "I'm just saying." Panel 6: Wide panel.
