PAGE 105 PANEL 1: Wide panel. We see a man with his back to the viewer. Vanita narrates. VANITA: I'll give my father this - he may have had all his culture beaten out of him, and been forced into worshipping Richard... PANEL 2: Cut back to present day. Close-in on King whose expression turns stern. VANITA (off-panel): ...but he never hit us. KING: Didn't he force you out of your home? PANEL 3: Wide panel. Vanita is startled to hear this, but knows it's true. King, serious, replies. VANITA: How would you - KING: Forgive me, but I couldn't help but hear your conversation on the phone before. PANEL 4: Flash back to when King was laying on the couch. Their eyes are wide open as they heard Vanita from another room. VANITA (off-panel): First he kicks me out - now he's trying to tell me what I can and can't do?!
