  • PAGE 90 Panel 1: Clow places a hand on Charlie's as she holds the phone. He asks, "Any clue as to what it MIGHT be?" Panel 2: Medium close up on Claudia and Don. Don holds one hand on Claudia's as she holds the phone. Don says, "If I knew for certain, we wouldn't have called." Panel 3: Closer in on Claudia. She says, "Think you could investigate this for us, please?" Panel 4: We look over Charlie's shoulder and down to her phone. She says, "I've got her number. We'll see what we can do." Claudia (on the phone) says, "Thank you! Let's just hope it's not another Halloween incident." Panel 5: At this angle, we see a medium close-up on Charlie and her brother Jared. What Charlie says startles Jared. Charlie says, "Let's hope not. Got anything else that could help us?" Panel 6: Close up on Charlie's phone. Claudia (on the phone) says, "If we think of anything, we'll text you." Charlie (off-panel) says, "Sounds good. I'll keep you posted as we find out more."

Panel 2: The brown hand picks up the phone, and another hand swipes at the screen. Panel 3: Charlie speaks into the phone. "Dude, it's a school night - " Panel 4: Wide panel. Close up on Claudia as she says, "Please put me on speaker. I have to speak with you and Clow." Panel 5: Large panel showing a living room with purple walls. On a blue couch sits a thin, pale man with a black mohawk that hangs down straight from his otherwise shaved head. He wears dark colors and holds a blue crochet project. Next to him is a purple couch covered in floral patterns. On this purple flower couch sits Charlie, phone in hand and a textbook in her lap. She wears a loose black tank top and deep purple pants. Next to her is a brown-skinned young man with short locks, wearing tan cargo shorts and a white tank, holding a crochet project made of purple yarn. This is her brother, Jared. Charlie looks to Clow and says, "Babe, set that down for a sec, it's Claudia."

Claudia gasps, and says, “You mean...like another Wendigo?” Don, worried, says, “I certainly hope it’s not THAT.” Panel 2: Wide panel. Don on the left, back to the viewer, says, “We need to get in touch with Charlie and Clow.” Claudia, texting on her phone, says, “Already on it, love.” Panel 3: Wide panel. In another apartment, we see a coffee table with a tote bag of purple yarn, three textbooks, an open binder of notes, and a phone that’s vibrating. Framing the image are two brown legs and a textbook in another person’s lap.

  • Panel 1: wide panel. Don, on the left, sniffs at the jar. Claudia, panel right, has her face turned from the viewer. She sees what Don is doing and says, “...They’re herbal teas, dear. Smell them with the lid OFF.” Panel 2: Medium close-up on Claudia looking confused. Don from off-panel says, “There’s another scent on these…” Panel 3: Close up on Don, concerned, a shadow falling over him. He says, “It’s been well over a year since I smelled this, but it’s...unmistakable. Panel 4: large panel, close up on the jar in Don’s hand. He points to it and says, “The fires of hell are all over this jar. Something from the Pit lives in this person’s house.”

Panel 3: We see his line of sight leads to small, squat jars full of herbs on a side table next to the book case. Panel 4: Don holds a jar, asking, “...What’s this?” Claudia raises her head to see what he’s talking about and goes, “Oh!” Panel 5: Close up on the jar Don is holding. It’s labeled, “Sniffle Time Tea.” Claudia says from off-panel, “A new girl came in and dropped those off for consignment earlier today.”

  • Panel 1: Don puts his hear next to Claudia’s belly, closes his eyes, and smiles. Panel 2: Close up on his face. He says, “I can’t wait to hold them.” Panel 3: Close up on Claudia. She smiles and blushes. Panel 4: Don kisses Claudia’s belly and says, “Now be good for your mother.” Claudia smiles. Panel 5: Don gets to tidying up the bookcase by the register. Claudia tallies something on a clipboard. The shop is quiet.

  • Panel 1: Don places a bag full of takeout on the counter. Upon seeing it, Claudia smiles and claps her hands. Don: I come bearing Mawit food. Panel 2: Claudia kisses his cheek – MWAH – and says, “Bless you!” Panel 3: Don walks around the counter and stands by Claudia. Claudia: I still have to close out the register, though. Don: That’s fine. You do that, I’ll tidy up the store. Panel 4: Claudia sits down on a stool to rest her pregnant belly. Don kneels beside her. Claudia: Oh, but let me sit down first. Don: How’s the baby? Panel 5: Close up on the pregnant belly as Claudia says, “Sleeping right now.”

  • Panel 1: Wide panel, we see the Mystic Moon shop, the sign in the window saying CLOSED. It’s night outside. Surrounding Mystic Moon, the other shops still have lights on. Panel 2: Wide panel. Inside of Mystic Moon, Claudia is counting cash at the register. Panel 3: Claudia looks up from counting, smiling. She says, “Hey, baby.” Panel 4: In comes Don, her partner, in a tank top and jeans, betraying his hairy arms, messy mop of hair, and scruffy beard. He smiles at her, and says, “Good evening, Starshine.”
